I used to think travel was something reserved for “someday.” There is no time like the present. Someday when I had more money. Someday when I had more time. Someday when life slowed down. As a nurse, my world often revolved around long shifts, missed holidays, and taking care of everyone else before myself. I loved what I did, but somewhere between twelve-hour shifts and charting past my shift, I realized I had stopped dreaming for me. Then something shifted. I booked a trip.
