Frequently Asked Questions

From my experience as a group travel host, I often get asked the same questions, so I've created this handy FAQs list to hopefully answer any questions you might have about me and my group trips.

1. What is Live Travel Vibe?

Live Travel Vibe is a women-focused group travel brand that hosts curated, all-vibe, low-stress trips for solo travelers and adventure lovers who want connection, culture, and fun without the planning headaches.

2. Do I have to come with a friend, or can I come solo?

Come solo! Most of our travelers do. You’ll leave with new friends and maybe even a travel bestie. Friends (and friends of friends) are always welcome too!

3. What’s included in the trip price?

Each trip includes handpicked accommodations, curated activities, select meals, ground transportation, and any domestic flights listed in the itinerary. Your trip host (that’s me, Josie!) is with you every step of the way. Be sure to check the full itinerary - every trip is a little different.

4. What’s not included?

Domestic or International flights (unless noted), travel insurance, personal spending money, and any meals not listed on the itinerary.

5. Who’s hosting the trips?

All trips are hosted by me - Josie, aka The Jetlagged Nurse. I am a travel nurse turned group trip planner/host who knows how to keep the vibes high and the stress low.

6. What kind of people join these trips?

Fun, open-minded, down-to-earth women who want to travel with ease, make genuine connections, and enjoy meaningful adventures. No drama, just good energy.

7. What’s the age range for Live Travel Vibe trips?

Travelers must be 21+, but age is just a number—it’s really about mindset and energy. Most guests are in their mid-30s to 50s, but anyone who’s adventurous, kind, and down to vibe is welcome.

8. Do I have to be super fit or outdoorsy?

Nope! We mix downtime with optional adventure. You do you. We’ll always share the activity level ahead of time so you know what to expect.

9. How do rooming arrangements work? Can I room with a friend?

If you’re coming with a friend, you can definitely room together—just let us know when booking. Coming solo? No worries! You’ll fill out a roommate match questionnaire, and we’ll pair you with someone who fits your vibe.

10. What’s the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policies vary slightly by trip, depending on our local partners. In general, all deposits and payments are non-refundable. Full details are listed on each trip page.

11. Is travel insurance required?

Yes. Travel insurance is now mandatory. For your safety, and to protect your investment in case of unexpected events or emergencies. Life happens, and we want you covered.

12. How do I book a trip?

Head to the “Group Trips” page, pick your destination, and follow the booking prompts. Spots fill up fast - so if it feels right, don’t overthink it!
